Regional Leadership Development Conferences (RLDC)
SHPE stages regional leadership development conferences on a yearly basis for the leadership of the SHPE student chapters to improve their organizational, managerial, and technical skills. They take place in all of the seven SHPE regions.
This program helps college students develop and improve their pre-college outreach programs and improve the infrastructure of SHPE student chapters.Student leaders learn how to interact and network with SHPE's corporate supporters. Here is a list of this year's RLDC events.
The SHPE National Convention is the major event for the Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers and the largest technical and career conference for Hispanics in the country.
Each year, the SHPE Conference attracts over 6,000 engineering professionals, students and corporate representatives. The conference is an opportunity for engineering companies and corporations to recruit top talent from SHPE membership. It also provides educational, technical and career opportunities for professional and student engineers.

Management Growth Training (MGT)
This program offers five days of comprehensive training on everything from project and financial management to dealing with difficult people to interpersonal communications. The intent is to provide our mid-level professional engineers with the critical skills that produce career advancement and elevate them to higher management levels within their companies. Designed as the 2nd tier in SHPE's Professional Development Strategies Series, the MGT program is currently being revised to offer an even more challenging and beneficial agenda. MGT's new curriculum even offers to provide credit hours in Project Management!
