Resources for you. (Because experts need support too!)
Our people know how to talk to your people--your students-- because we have the common goal of closing the gap between Hispanics in STEM. SHPE helps and supports our Chapter Advisors like the valuable asset they are. The resources below are made to make your job easier.
Academic Partnership Council (APC)
The APC is an exclusive group of academic institutions committed to increasing the number of Hispanics in STEM. We know that most of our members are introduced to SHPE at a community college, 4-year college, or university. By joining the APC, your partnership helps educate our members, influences their career paths, and provides a forum for the exchange of innovative ideas at the outset of their STEM journeys. [link]

Convention, NILA, and Regional Events
We’re always putting on events. Our national conferences draw thousands of students and professionals! At Convention alone, you’ll find professionals in STEM, SHPETinas, and Tech & Innovation conference tracks for professionals. And our local events are a great way to connect with SHPE members in your area. [link to Events page]
Wherever you are in the country, there’s probably a SHPE chapter nearby. Hundreds of community colleges, colleges, and universities already have SHPE chapters. And if your school hasn’t established a chapter yet, we’ll help you get one off the ground.
