National Convention, RLDCs, NILA, and more

SHPE wouldn’t be a Familia if we didn’t get together from time-to-time. Our nine annual events are a chance for us to check-in, connect, and network!

Conventions & Conferences

The SHPE National Convention serves as the country’s largest, annual gathering of Hispanic STEM students and professionals. The National Institute for Leadership Advancement (NILA) is held annually in the summer with elected leaders from the seven regions and 250+ chapters. And the Regional Leadership Development Conferences (RLDC) are regional events held every Spring for the purpose of developing Hispanic leaders in STEM.
