I recently renewed my membership through SHPEConnect and I am still seeing Non-Member rates when attempting to register. What can I do?

Why does it cost this much for a virtual convention?
This year's convention will offer MORE - more access, more content, and more opportunities! There will be eleven days of cutting-edge content presented on a highly sophisticated meeting platform that allows for face-to-face interviews and algorithm-based networking. For the first time ever, attendees can participate in competitions and go to the sessions and go to all of the special events. Also, for the first time ever, attendees will have access to the content for an entire year. This is a unique opportunity to invest in your dream career. Please see our value proposition >
When does registration close?
We have 2 registration periods:
Early Bird: August 6 – September 30
Regular: October 1 - October 16
Online registration will close October 16th, 2020
Are we able to submit a bulk registration?
Yes, if you are requesting 5 or more Convention registrations please submit a request here >
Can we pay for our bulk registrations in installments?
Yes! SHPE Chapters have the opportunity to request a National Convention bulk registration invoice to be paid in installments. Installments may be broken down into two payments. Final and full payment must be made by October 12, 2020 in order to receive registration codes. Once an invoice has been generated and sent to the requester, it will not be modified. SHPE Chapter will be responsible for full payment. Payments can be made via an online secured portal or mail checks to the SHPE National Finance Department. Our bulk invoice cancellation policy will apply. Email firstname.lastname@example.org with questions.

How secure is my information?
On the MeetingPlay platform, attendees opt in to share their information with exhibitors, sponsors, and other attendees. This is part of privacy and security settings that are set up when the attendee logs into the MeetingPlay platform the first time. Additionally, the attendee may update or change these at any time.
The MeetingPlay platform will collect attendee data to include attendee name, region, chapter, e-mail address, SHPE registration id, and resume (provided you upload it into the platform). The attendee has the option to check in to workshops and other events/sessions in the platform. The system will collect information such as log-in, individual number of chat messages, individual survey responses, overall rating for the event experience, content views, public chat posts, and activity on the social wall within the platform.
Exhibitors/Sponsors have access to attendee reporting specific to their booth and sponsored workshop/event. It will include the attendee name, email, company/school, first visit, last visit, and total visits.
MeetingPlay is fully complaint with GDPR requirements and uses modern encryption and security standards on all event data to ensure secure communication and storage. See attached document outlining details about MeetingPlay’s storage and security protocols.
Who is exhibiting at the Career Fair?
Please check out the full exhibitor list - updated weekly.
When is my resume due?
All convention attendees must upload their resume by October 16, 11:59pm PT so that it can be shared with the sponsors and exhibitors who will be setting up interviews to take place during the convention. Upload your current resume to the Career Center and check the box that indicates you will be attending the convention.
What is the process for securing interviews with the exhibitors who are hiring?
The first thing to do is upload your current resume to the Career Center by October 16 and check the box indicating that you will be attending the convention. When the platform opens in mid-October, visit the booths of the employers you're interested in, answer the pre-screening questions and upload your resume (you may use a different resume than the one in the Career Center if you wish to tailor your resume to the employer). You will be scheduled for a 5-minute pre-screening chat. After the pre-screening, you will be notified on the platform if you have been scheduled for an interview.
