Launching STEM Careers
Expanding upon traditional internships, the InternSHPE program provides opportunities for interns to gain a sense of community and build upon their professional development through a combination of activities like MentorSHPE, self-paced courses, monthly workshops like overcoming imposter syndrome, and much more. Corporate partners can select components of the InternSHPE program that align with their goals, so every internSHPE program and experience will look a little different.

InternSHPE offers valuable growth opportunities for STEM students to accelerate their learning and career preparation while creating relationship building opportunities within the company where they intern. Interns are often able to see topics they learn in the classroom in action during their internship experience. The InternSHPE program helps interns make that learning connection as they experience it within the framework of the company goals and culture, seeing themselves as a future full-time employee.
