Calif. program helps girls with STEM, social skills
Girls ages 8 to 17 who live in the San Francisco Bay area can learn social skills, get math help and explore STEM subjects at Jion Academy, a Saturday morning program in Oakland. The academy's co-founder, Jacqueline Hunt-Willis, said the program teaches participants how they can "fit into the world and also stand out."
