Melissa Di Donato, CEO of Linux enterprise software provider SUSE, says she is frequently still the only woman in the room and believes her role comes with a responsibility to encourage openness, diversity and the inclusion of women and girls in STEM fields. "The company is inherently open and collaborative -- in an open source environment you can contribute literally from anywhere -- however you don't see a load of diversity in open source as an industry right now," she says.
