About the Presenter
Eddie Gonzales began his work in Pasadena at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory (JPL) in 2001. At that time, He was the Business Administrator in the Education Office at JPL. Eddie also worked directly with NASA Headquarters in the capacity of Education and Public Outreach for the Science Mission Directorate with a focus on Planetary Science. In 2011, he became a Program Manager in NASA’s Minority Undergraduate Research Education Program (MUREP) and has been a keynote speaker at numerous universities and community colleges across the nation, as well as, a panelist and moderator for various national conferences. Eddie was recently promoted to Principal of STEM Engagement for Diversity and Minorities at NASA’s Goddard Space Flight Center and now resides on the East Coast. He mentors dozens of students and is passionate about his work.
